I was a Technical Project Manager in the Engineered Systems organisation (Exadata, Exalogic, Exalytics, SuperClusters, Big Data Appliances ....) in EMEA. I had specific responsibility for implementations in the UK, Ireland and Israel. Overall Technical accountability for the IBM solution at Philips: a messaging and application infrastructure supporting a global workforce of over 100,000 in 60+ countries. Involved leading design & build of the new platform, specification, design and build of new infrastructure services and migration to the new platform. Key outcomes were the closure of over 100 data centres and machine rooms.
