I have always seen Broadcasting and Live Streaming as an avenue to sharing the things I love most with those not fortunate enough to be able to attend events in person. Whether through a camera, a microphone, at the producers desk, or through overlay graphics, I always strive to present an event in the most professional way to give the viewer as much insight on the central stories as possible.I have spent the majority of my life in software development, and continue to use those skills to enhance the quality of a show in any way I can. Automation is key in broadcasting events with small production teams, and allows more focus on the event itself and creativity, rather than completing menial repetitive tasks. With that background, I have also been able to create software for overlay graphics that are fully customizable to any event, and integrate natively with most production environments.For over 10 years my free time was primarily spent in music production, recording, mixing, and mastering. Those skills have transferred directly into broadcasting, bringing not only a technical ear but a creative one to the audio realm of a show. Traditionally, music-focused effects have not been seen as a useful tool in small to midsize production teams, and I have found that is far from the case, as they allow a large amount of freedom in crafting quality sound from less than perfect sources.For the past 5 years, the majority of my focus has been on my Twitch streaming community, where I manage and produce my own virtual drift series, known as SLIDESTYLE. Through this platform I am able to regularly elevate my skills in automation, software, audio, directing, and commentary. Over the years I have been honored to be invited to work on many other eSports broadcasts, most notably CSC, North America's largest competitive Counter-Strike league. There, I was a part of teams building overlay graphics, observing (controlling in-game cameras), and casting (play-by-play commentary).Presently, I have had the privilege of being the Broadcast Producer at the historic South Boston Speedway, where I manage a team of 3 camera operators and 2 commentators, streaming live to a worldwide audience on FloRacing. Through connections made in racing, I have been able to be a part of the teams that produced the biggest events in regional stock car racing: our own South Boston 200, the Hampton Heat, the Thanksgiving Classic, the Snowball Derby, and the ValleyStar Credit Union 300.
