As senior counselor, I assisted Public Affairs Engagement's clients with strategy and implementation of effective public affairs and communications campaigns to ensure the right people are disseminating the right information and the right message to the right audience at the right time.

Member of the corporate public affairs leadership team. Held a variety of positions including-- advocacy and alliances director, strategic communications director, federal lobbyist, interim director - Washington office; interim PAC Treasurer, senior policy manager, and compliance manager.

Managed the rate, form, and advertising division with a staff of sixteen.Represented the insurance department before the state legislature and governor's office and on various health policy-related work groups and committees. Also represented the commissioner to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), with the media, and in various.

Managed vision and pharmacy group purchasing arrangements and government relations.

Co-founder. PAS designed and built private-sector group purchasing solutions (similar to Marketplace Exchanges) to give small business organizations and their members leverage when negotiating with insurers. Negotiated contracts with chambers of commerce and health insurers, and marketed employee benefits packages (health, dental, and life insurance plans).

HERO designed and patented an electronic process to aggregate consumer point of sale purchase data and discounts across multiple merchants. I was part of the leadership team and helped develop plans for health products and services.
