Compiling record sheets for the recording of both critical and non-critical dimensions, for quality and customer requirements, as well as filing, completing, and storing all the necessary reporting paper work required for the mould and spares. Liaising with the other designers to speed up the mould design process, to achieve better lead times, and thus improve customer satisfaction. Creating mould manuals for customers on the completion of a mould, which contain maintenance procedures, water circuit diagrams, critical dimension reports, steel certificates of conformity, steel hardening records, bills of materials, spares list, 2D drawings and 3D models. Ordering all standard parts, steel requirements, and any specialised machined parts for each mould.Scheduling projects to achieve realistic and competitive lead times, to ensure that we efficiently organise production scheduling to ensure just in time delivery for our customers.
