• • Monitor and assist in the review of OEM, tier 1, and tier 2 automotive production die designs during the preliminary and final design stages.• Assist and manage die teams and customers with technical problem solving solutions during die builds, ECR’s and tryout procedures.• Personnel training using hands on techniques, developing literature, and classroom discussion where appropriate.• Positively and professionally represent the company at all times through phone, WebEx meetings, e-mails, and during in-house and customer on-site visits for buyoff’s, tryouts, and tours.• Supervise Die Leaders and develop action plans for each project to ensure maximum customer satisfaction through adherence to customer quality standards, QS/ISO/TS standards, on time delivery of quality products, and ensuring that all safety standards are met or exceeded.• Assist with project quoting, monitoring, managing & tracking of all project budget plans including outside vendor inventories and component supply lead times, and cost reduction initiatives. • Project launching, scheduling, developing timelines, SOW’s, engineering changes, and supporting of all aspects of assigned projects throughout their entire duration.• Being the liaison and voice of the customer in their absence to promote positive customer relations and to promote future business transactions.• Proficient use of office software- Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Project, Global Shop, VisView, etc.• Performing additional duties and tasks as assigned.

• Responsible for interviewing, directing, and training mechanical and electrical personnel for proper machine maintenance and repair procedures for nano phosphate lithium ion prismatic cell manufacturing equipment.• Experienced trouble shooting and repair of fiber optics, pneumatics, multiple types of sensors & controls, wet and dry vacuum pump systems, light electrical procedures, ultra precision fluid dispensing pumps, and limited vision systems experience.• Developed and documented all equipment preventative maintenance procedures and frequencies from the ground level up.• Directly involved with multiple aspects of plant and equipment launch procedures for the largest lithium-ion battery prototype and production manufacturer in North America.• Directly responsible for troubleshooting, engineering and designing, fabricating, and outsourcing (if necessary) equipment changes for improvements for higher manufacturing efficiency and improved machine performance.• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook.• In charge of outside vendor scheduling, meeting, and directing of needed services.• Directly involved with 5S implementation and product quality assurance measures at all times with the authority to shut down any equipment at any time due to non conforming product manufacturing.

• Custom engineer prototype and production processes, components, assemblies, research and development, and problem solving solutions for prototype, medical, automotive, entertainment, & aerospace customers.• Lean manufacturing implementation, 5S, APQP, gage R & R studies, DVP & R, program launching, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, budgeting, and project scheduling.• Liaison between product engineering, manufacturing, and prototype build dept. • Work directly with customers to implement changes on existing and new processes to decrease cost and increase project efficiency.• Involvement with design validation, various product testing methods, documentation, and manufacturability studies for engineering teams.• Strong international coordination and interpersonal experience with overseas customers.
