I’m a self-taught programmer, trained illustrator/designer, and entrepreneur. Since launching my first open source website, I was hooked on guiding teammates to build robust, functional, secure websites while contributing to a bigger open source cause. Galvanizing teams and steering them to uncover their purpose, stretch themselves, and accomplish goals bigger than imagined is hugely gratifying! I’m a big believer in servant leadership.For 10 years, I worked on growing an open source digital agency that was acquired in 2015. As Managing Partner, I oversaw technology, creative, operations, and closed sales contracts. In fact, I’ve worn virtually every hat imaginable in a digital agency, from salesperson, developer, designer, project manager, technical architect, strategist to accountant. I’m keenly aware of the important details that define how an agency scales, wins new business, and maintains profitability. Following Mediacurrent’s acquisition, I stayed on to grow the business to triple its acquisition size. While at Mediacurrent:-I defined the agency’s approach to technical strategy, IT infrastructure and creative direction.-I helped pioneer a resilient remote work model starting in 2007.-The company experienced 20% YoY growth.-I operationalized and automated business functions.-I helped close deals on hundreds of project engagements.-We won numerous Webby awards and were voted an Atlanta Journal Constitution Top Workplace in 2019 and 2021.Some of the clients I've worked with:University of Georgia, Georgia Tech, Stanford, Harvard, MIT, Yale, Weather.com, PwC, Miami Dolphins, NASCAR, Verifone, Principal Financial, Guardian Life, Habitat for Humanity, Brand USA, and Manhattan Associates.I’m super curious about solving complex business and technology problems.
