Paul has over 16 years of working experience and held various management roles in ST Kinetics. He has also been identified as a top-talent in the company and was rotated extensively within the company.His background include business development, manufacturing operations, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) operations, business management and engineering design and management.After completing his degree in Mechanical & Production Engineering in 1999, Paul launched his career in engineering design in ST Kinetics. As a design engineer, Paul had a patent to his name and won various awards which include the Defence Technology Prize (MINDEF) and an Innovation Award by ST Kinetics.In Nov08, Paul was rotated to STA Inspection, a subsidiary of ST Kinetics where his last position held was Assistant General Manager. He implemented process improvements based on the best practices observed in the benchmarking of local competitors and similar companies overseas, and achieved the highest annual revenue since inception of STA in 2011.In Sep12, Paul joined the manufacturing division as Head, Production. He successfully transformed the production line using the LEAN Methodology in collaboration with Deloitte Consulting, resulting in a 20% increase in productivity and 50% reduction in workspace. In Jan15, Paul joined the MRO Business Unit as Division Head. He led the successful transformation of its workshop similarly via LEAN, resulting in an increase in productivity and 50% increase in PBT(YOY) in 2015.In Feb16, Paul was handpicked by the company president to take on the role of Head Business Development and Planning in the Corporate HQ and he has been in that role since.To further augment his business management skills and prepare for future roles in senior management, Paul is currently pursuing the Executive MBA programme at Nanyang Business School (NTU) and is expected to graduate in 2018.
