- Assisting six joint venture companies in the Asia Pacific and Middle East region in procurement of monomer (US$1 billion per annum), logistics (US$100 million per annum) and additives (US$50 million per annum). - Completing major project evaluation in Asia, the Middle East and South America (investments considered were between US$200M and US$2 billion)- Assisted in the establishment of a joint marketing entity to manage the exports of products from three Asian joint ventures and one wholly owned business (total annual sales US$500 million)- Assisting the Senior Vice President Asia Pacific Operations in monitoring joint venture performance- Managing the supply chain for product supplied to the Asia Pacific, Indian Subcontinent, Africa and Middle East from supply sources in Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North Americao Managing the range of products offered by the supply sources including addition of new products and deletion of obsolete products- Managing the forecasting and availability checking process and working with the supply sources to improve delivery performance. o Total value of product sold is US$1 billion per annum. from 10 supply sources into over 30 countries. o Establishing logistics models for three large Saudi assets, including selling product while on the water and managing warehouses in Korea, China, Vietnam, Singapore and Bahrain (two reports)- Member of global team managing LyondellBasell’s involvement with the LME and investigating if it can be used to manage pricing risk.- Assisting senior management in evaluation and implementation of mergers, acquisitions and divestments.
