I’m a growth focussed leader with a strategic orientation but an eye for detail. I’m a team player, with a strong reputation for tackling challenging new developments or problem areas.I hold several non-executive Director positions with technology start-ups and I am an active angel investor. I have a strong interest in social enterprise, stemming from an observation that many private sector companies lack a strong social purpose while many third sector organisations lack commercial capability. I believe the growth of the social enterprise sector can play a key role in achieving a fairer society in which economic growth and welfare of citizens are not seen as incompatible goals. I served for over ten years as a member of the Executive Team at Wood Mackenzie, during which time we achieved very strong growth in terms of revenue, profit, capabilities and international reach. I’ve led large teams, acquisitions & integrations, transformation programmes and strategy, planning & change processes. I have also played a key role in several fund raising / corporate sale events.
