Responsibilities included the design and implementation of broadcast antenna systems from contract award to final on-site commissioning. Notable projects include the commissioning of 36 GSM sites in Lebanon for Motorola, project management of mobile phone site installations in Belgium. Installation and commissioning of DAB radio antenna systems for CCI and also Chan5 and DTT TV antenna installations for NTL. • Mar'94-Dec'95 : Antenna Systems Design Engineer (Broadcast)Working within the Sales and Marketing department (Antennas). Responsibilities included the design and commercial proposal of tenders for broadcast antenna systems. Dealing with customers both in the UK and Overseas.• Oct92-Mar94 : Projects Coordinator (Cellular)I was responsible for the site testing, commissioning, quality and customer liaison, along with the commercial and contractual management of multiple site installations in the mobile communications field. In addition I was responsible for the setting up of the company testing and QA procedures to suit customer's requirements. Customers included Vodafone, Cellnet and Mercury One-2-One.• Sep90-Oct 92 : Antenna Engineer (Broadcast)Successfully completed a 2 year IEE graduate training scheme. Part of a team of 5 Antenna Engineers responsible for the design, testing and commissioning of VHF Radio and UHF TV broadcast antenna systems (antennas and associated combining systems). Work involved extensive overseas travel including Africa, Europe, Middle East, USA and the Far East.
