My major interests are in developing sustainable economic frameworks for carbon fixation.Also very skilled in correlation of strata of unconventional reservoirs using a range of geochemical tools, particularly ODM, XRF, SEM, pyrolysis etc.. Creation of "normative mineralogical rules"​ for algorithm writers. Use of major, minor & trace elements in paleoenvironmental reconstruction. "redox elements"​. Geosteering using the gamma trace & other logs. Assessment of brittleness, porosity, swelling clays & use of "completion tools. "​ Fluids to prevent migration of fines."Slickwater". Use of salts to prevent swelling. Picking of fracking points (perforations).

Correlation of strata using trace metals & tephrochronology of unconventional reservoirs for directional drilling & other "geoengineering" purposes. Duties included: preparing & analysing samples with XRF, SEM & pyrolysis from US onshore basins 1) Marcellus, 2) Eagleford, 3) Permian Basin. . Also some superficial experience of Niobrara formation. Collation & interpretation of data using ODM software (also includes tar - clogged conventional offshore reservoirs). Report writing, abstracts, publication.

Develop new approaches to geochemical data

Take on scientific problems & solve them. Most successful project was "recognition of medical biomarkers of disease.".

Develop an antidote for climate change by utililising the waste stream as the only resource for carbon neutral fuel & CO2 sequestration. Propose a broad - based regional policy initiatives for making complementary urban & rural areas into self sufficient entities (similar to an ecosphere, space station or "entropy reversal machine" ). using only waste, sunlight & an alternative - energy joule - based currency

High School Science Teacher,also taught at a number of schools and colleges including Tomball; Houston Community Colleges.Subjects taught included Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geology & Environmental Science.

Recent consulting work with Texas Transportation Institue at TAMU has included analyses of commercial aggregates and bitumens by UV, IR and GC-MS, probe MS and laser - ablation mass spectrometry. Other work has included submitting papers to AAPG and Chemical & Engineering News on the need for alternative fuels as a defense against global warming. Many of the recommendations in these recent papers have been successfully enacted, particularly on the use of waste as fuel. See "Waste Management partners with Valero to make gasoline from waste". Presentations have been made at Rice University . This work is very much “in progress” and new developments are proposed.Attempts to solve global warming by integrating waste management,taxation, forest protection, water resources, mining, conventional & alternative fuels, other energy sources as well as food production into a sustainable economic model. 2 publications so far.

Responsible for following projects: .Quantitive analyses of PCBs, Pesticide & "priority pollutants" following EPA protocols.• Quantitive analyses of PAH using GC-MS. QA/QC of organic analytical data.• Running GC-ECD laboratory. Preparation of data reports.• First published map (1991) the oils of the entire Gulf of Mexico using GC-MS fingerprint analysis (as if they were rocks!) • Recognise & confirm several Mesozoic souces in GOM • Mapping of marine petroleum seepage. Work confirmed by Exxon - very similar maps published considerably later.• Several significant publications in peer reviewed journals.
