Paul Crafer is a dynamic technology and business services leader with a proven track record in building transformative teams and driving growth. Through extensive experience with industry giants like Salesforce and Apple, Paul has honed his skills in strategic consulting and corporate sales.In spring 2024, Paul embarked on a transformative career shift, focusing on AI governance and algorithm auditing. He began this new chapter by enrolling in courses at both Edinburgh University Business School and Jönköping International Business School. In August, he joined For Humanity, earning the Independent Audit of AI Systems certification in September and the For Humanity Certified Auditor in the EU AI Act certification in December. From November 2024 to March 2025, he is furthering his studies in AI politics, policy, and governance with courses from the Global Politics faculty of Malmö University whilst also studying for the IAPP's 'AI Governance Professional' exam. With a strong commitment to advocating for responsible technological innovation and policy, Paul is developing himself to be an ambassador and expert in the field.As a dual citizen of Sweden and Great Britain, Paul is authorized to work across the EU and the UK, offering flexibility in terms of relocation, hybrid, or remote work arrangements. Paul is also available for consulting and contract opportunities, allowing him to leverage his diverse skill set in various professional contexts.In his spare time, Paul enjoys running in the hills around Sóller (Mallorca) where he has a home, competing in Hyrox races across Europe, doing gardening and (simple!) DIY for his Sóller neighbours and reading reports and academic papers on AI governance, policy and ML research.
