I develop strategic leaders to manage complex pharmacy benefit operations for over 50 million consumers. This starts by building a team of individuals with a passion to exceed client expectations and who aspire for flawless execution of services and then iterating through process improvement until goals are achieved.Successful leadership can take many models, but I put myself in the trenches with my team and demonstrate how to be successful as a team and take accountability when we miss the target. For me, leadership isn’t just about setting expectations it is also providing the tools be it systems, process or techniques to be successful and requires a leader that takes the time to understand the details. The best operators have great breadth and depth of understanding their business and that comes from getting your hands dirty. I am passionate about leveraging data to make objective decisions and can often be found writing SQL queries to pull information from the database and pivoting that data to garner insightful information that is then actionable. I teach my leaders to do the same to gain clarity in strategic decision making.
