For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed computers, mathematics, and engineering. The introduction of the iPhone further ignited my passion for technology, leading me to a 17+ year career in software architecture, mobile applications, and React Native solutions. I welcome the opportunity to learn about emerging technologies and implementing them into current projects. For example, I am currently expanding my skills in NativeScript and SwiftUI and look forward to utilizing them in my next app development task. My passion for mentoring engineers and developers leads me to seek collaborative projects that enable us to share our expertise. As the Principal Software Engineer at Allscripts, I lead a six-member Scrum team in implementing our React Native solution that provides healthcare professionals with real-time access to patient data and information. We work together to write Native iOS and Android modules and set up Azure DevOps processes and pipelines to automate, test, and execute project milestones for our cross-platform application.At Harris, I was an essential partner on a 12-member team charged with virtualizing an entire system with over 40 machines. Additionally, I led multiple teams in modernizing our systems to improve operations, such as 1) directing the software development team in introducing a modern telemetry system, and 2) heading the product team in engineering a safety-critical system that processes GPS tracking data for the Air Force’s range system. When I’m not developing scalable and Agile software, you’ll find me pursuing my other two passions – traveling and cooking. I’ve been to Vancouver, Montreal, Spain, Italy, the U.K., and all over the United States, and I lived in France for a year.
