At US Digital I am responsible for developing a B2B Digital Marketing/Content Strategy focused on driving brand awareness through multiple channels including social media, YouTube and organic search. I manage our Google Analytics account and Google Ads campaigns.I launched a TikTok/YouTube Shorts video strategy that resulted in the channel growing from a few hundred followers to 100,000+ and the start of a secondary channel focused on customer support that grew to have more than 1,000 subscribers in about a year. I also develop collateral for trade shows, sales presentations, product photography and website marketing copy. I am one of four people in our internal video production team that creates videos for US Digital and a handful of select non-profit community partners.I also designed and installed a revamped live-to-tape video production studio tech stack including Blackmagic Design ATEM switchers, cameras and recording hardware.

I own and operate a small business that specializes in helping other small businesses connect with customers through digital storytelling and photography. Projects include product photography, video podcasts, social media marketing, video production, video live-streaming and live event video coverage.

I was part of an internal marketing team that represented multiple B2C and B2B home heating brands in the United States and Canada including Dimplex and Cadet. I was responsible for developing and maintaining brand standards for social media and YouTube.My day-to-day responsibilities included updating content on brand websites, monitoring social media, managing responses to customer questions and reviews on eCommerce websites and being the Wholesale sales point of contact on the marketing team.In addition to this, I took product photography, produced videos and assisted with influencer marketing initiatives.

I was responsible for the Cadet's marketing efforts, including supervising two direct reports. I provided guidance with product packaging, owner's guides, copywriting and proofreading. I also supported the larger organization with internal and external communications and media relations, including being part of the team that developed the plan to announce the company’s sale.My day-to-day work was more specifically focused on digital marketing, content development, social media marketing, website management and customer service through our partner eCommerce website. I created videos and product photography to support marketing and sales needs.I was responsible for driving our brand YouTube Channel which grew from a few hundred subscribers to several thousand through a years long effort to answer customer FAQs and provide world-class customer support through video.I also represented the brand at regional and national trade shows and did some limited influencer marketing projects.

As a member of the marketing team, I was responsible for developing a social media and content strategy to support Cadet's business goals and build brand awareness in new and expanding markets. I also maintained our company WordPress blog, managed social media channels, took product photography and produced videos for Cadet's YouTube Channel and partner eCommerce websites. I helped create targeted audiences to push out our content on social media, particularly Facebook, to drive traffic to Cadet's blog and website.

I produced breaking news and feature videos to go on columbian.com and The Columbian's YouTube channel. I also helped the Web Editor with website updates, community management of our WordPress blog network, social media and newsroom training sessions. When the web and photo teams merged in 2014, I ended up becoming a backup photographer and helped run our photographers’ schedules.

Five days a week I was the first person from the news department in the building. I wrote a lot of police and firefighter stories from our coverage area (Clark County). I also produced occasional videos, took photos and kept our followers updated on breaking news through Twitter. I also was responsible for building and maintaining a network of sources in the law enforcement and first responder community.

I was part of a media team that was developing a new community website to celebrate people, businesses and stories from Clark County, WA. I helped develop our WordPress and Drupal websites, wrote content for our website, managed social media channels, produced live, multi-camera video programming and coordinated our video production team and projects.

I covered neighborhood news features and briefs, processed district court information and managed the event calendar for the metro section. I occasionally helped with website initiatives including helping us move from a dedicated video host, to YouTube hosting and updated our event calendar so it appeared online first and from there fed our print calendar.

I helped the marketing/communications department at the Vancouver campus with web projects, including a website redesign. I also wrote press releases and stories for the website, managed the event calendar and sent out daily e-mail newsletters.

I reported directly to the Web Editor for seven weeks to learn how The Columbian manages content on its website. I also shot and produced videos, wrote short stories, coded pages, managed user comments and worked with IT to plan for future web projects.

I managed my college newspaper's website, planned online exclusive content, produced video, shot and processed photos, copy edited breaking news and managed two multimedia reporters.
