Platform Product Design is a small product design and engineering studio based in Atlanta, Ga. Our product design innovations cover many different industries including aerospace, consumer products, food service appliances, cosmetics, outdoor gear, healthcare, housewares and pet products.

As a product designer & engineer, my skill set caters to the creation and development of physical goods, particularly consumer products. Depending on client needs, I can work both collaboratively and individually, and my focuses include: concept development & ideation, CAD, iterative design, prototyping, and design for manufacturing.

Location: Harvester Works (Combine manufacturing plant). Key responsibilities included: developing, evaluating, and implementing design solutions to reduce cost and improve quality and performance of machines. Coordinated with factories in Germany and Brazil, and collaborated with buyers, suppliers, and supply management to maximize effectiveness of design, testing, and implementation processes. Notable projects included: Redesign of Spreader Disks into single-piece, interchangeable, compression molded version to increase life and reduce cost and number of parts; and Conversion of Feederhouse Top Shaft into single-piece weldment for weight and cost reduction.Recipient of Factory Leadership Award.

Teaching Assistant for ME360: Product Design. Responsibilities include: grading homework and assisting students with course related questions.

Teaching Assistant for An Introduction to CAD and Machine Components. Responsibilities include grading homework assignments and assisting students in their use of more advanced features of SolidWorks software.

Designed and manufactured medical grade, implantable silicone devices using both injection and press molding techniques

Energy Division. In field: collaborated with clients such as the TD Garden to retrofit and replace light fixtures, thus reducing energy consumption. In office: managed accounts of clients.
