Acting as a Research Manager for the Flax Council of Canada. 1. Acting as research advisor for the Flax Council of Canada. Worked with FCC, ManFlax and SaskFlax to establish and priorize agronomic, breeding and biotechnology research projects for AIP and other funding programs. 2. Providing oversight and coordination to AIP Growing Forward 2 Flax Science project. Includes in-person meetings with scientists and project review and reporting.3. Developing agronomic strategy for the Flax Industry with focus to significantly improve yield over the next 5 years.

Reduced varietal development from 11 years (industry standard) to six years.5. Developed a quality assurance breeder seed production manual and successfully completed two audits.6. International plant breeding experience in Australia, United Kingdom, France, Sweden, Argentina and USA. 7. Co-ordinator of Solin Flax Co-operative test and Flax Co-ordinaotor for the Alberta/BC Regional Variety testing program.

Responsible for northern agriculture mandate for the Yukon Territorial government. Reported to the Deputy Minister of Renewal Resources.Directed research activities, provided farmers with technical information to enhance production and worked with policy analysts to improve agricultural framework in the Yukon.
