Currently Senior Product Manager for DIA Ethernet services at Talk Talk.Previously spent 5 years as the Senior Product Manager for the well renowned BTnet Direct Internet Access service in the UK.Previously working for BT Global Services as an Account Manager, looking after UK Government accounts. Through my extensive industry and business experience I was a trusted advisor for several key customers, including NHS accounts, fire services, and local councils. My main role was to understand the specific business challenges encountered by my clients and to present innovative solutions to overcome them. Typically this involved an extensive review of their operations to gain an exact understanding of their environment and challenges and then working with them to develop and deliver an appropriate solution. As part of this role I have been the Account Manager for the major joint venture between BT Global Services and Lancashire County Council (One Connect Limited). My performance in this role has been commended by my senior management team, with whom I have regular contact and I am consistently exceeded 100% of my sales targets. Through my 14 years of experience, I am fully conversant in all areas of the telecommunications industry, from voice, data, security and networking to outsourcing, cloud based services and virtualisation. In February 2013 I earned a Diploma in Negotiation with Frost & Sullivan.I have been an IP Networking specialist within BT’s corporate division and have enjoyed a great deal of success in this role, consistently being one of the top performers in leased line and private services sales campaigns. I have been covering manager for my specialist team and with great success. I was also an integral part of the ICT desk Supporting BT Local Businesses and driving new business in the ICT arena. I am the key technical lead for my team and enjoy being the ‘go to guy’.
