- Completed 30 years of active duty and reserve component experience as a Special Forces officer. Afghanistan

Director of Operations and Executive Officer for a multi-national military task force deployed to Afghanistan with the mission of training, advising, and mentoring the Afghan National Army Special Operations Command (ANASOC).- Managed a multidimensional staff with responsibility for human resources, logistics, maintenance, transportation, facilities management, engineering, construction, information management, contracts, legal services, and security.- Provided executive supervision of over $50M annually for U.S. base support, $60M annually for contract mentors, and over $110M for construction of host-nation military facilities.- Collaborated with senior leaders across several units to develop a long-range strategic plan for Special Operations forces within Afghanistan. Developed strategies for staffing, equipping, funding, and supporting these forces.

Senior officer responsible for the planning and execution of all special operations training and advising missions in Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Chile.- Coordinated with the U.S. Embassy country teams to determine priorities for training and equipping host nation forces, request authorities and funding, and develop plans for conducting training and distributing equipment.- Developed rapport and relationships with special operations leaders in each country to strengthen the military-to-military bonds with our country’s strategic partners.

- Managed a technical staff covering several areas of the Lycos network including in-house sections and private label areas hosted by third-party providers. Resolved complex problems regarding system integration and performance while retaining consistent branding and look and feel across the sites.- Led a team of software engineers and product managers to develop and implement new website features and execute revenue and page view growth strategies.- Developed automated testing for the shopping, payment, and order processing sections of the Lycos website.

Iraq

- Operations Officer of a task force responsible for restoring safety, security and governmental functions in the city of Kirkuk and the At-Ta’mim province in North-Central Iraq.- Planned and executed the 12-month deployment, mission execution, and redeployment of a 60-soldier unit operating in small units throughout a volatile region of Iraq. Completed 100% of missions with no casualties.
