Represented convicted felons imprisoned at the Army Disciplinary Barracks at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. I principally represented officers as well as enlisted personnel. I was successful in getting several cases overturned based upon legal issues, findings of unlawful command influence or prosecutorial misconduct. Counsel of Record in several important military appellate decisions, including U.S. v. Byrd, which established the defense of abandonment for inchoate crime cases in military criminal courts.
