Als senior ontwikkelaar help ik actief mee de bedrijfsdoelstellingen te behalen door de juiste inzet en opzet van software.Ik help graag mee in het ontwerpen, opzetten en implementeren van software en het aansturen van ontwikkelteams. Ik ben van vele markten thuis en heb een hoop ervaring opgedaan in de laatste 11 jaar als software-ontwikkelaar. Ik vind de mooiste opzet om te werken volgens Scrum met Kanban, programmeren in PHPStorm met git op een Docker ontwikkelomgeving welke is ingehaakt op een Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment systeem. Daarmee blijft het ontwikkelproces transparant, weet iedereen waar er aan gewerkt wordt en is er constant sturing op de kwaliteit van de code door onder meer geautomatiseerde tests en snelle feedback.

In my work as Senior Developer I have the ability to work out innovative ideas and new concepts. I have the power to transform the ideas into concrete solutions in the form of prototypes or proof-of-concepts. This enables us to assess the real-world value of ideas when we take these products out in the field for testing purposes.All work is done in the Concept Development & Experimentation (CD&E) manner, which is a NATO standard. It is specifically aimed to work as a standardized structure for developing future military capability. When we put in a lot of effort to make a solution work, it might not be the right solution for the problem at hand. At that time we saviour our experience and lessons learned and get on with the next innovation. Maybe we'll be facing a problem in the future for which our solution is a perfect fit!When a testdrive does work out, we connect with our operations department. They then take the specifications, functionality and customer wishes and work it out to a system which is production ready. Functional, robust and ready for action.
