I am a dynamic and results-oriented top executive with extensive accounting, financial and operational experience and have worked closely with the operations on improving workflows along with variable and fixed costs. I have 20 years of progressive financial experience including over 10 years as a head of finance. In addition to leading Finance and Accounting organizations, I have led HR and IT organizations at multiple organizations. I have experience in private, PE owned and large publicly traded companies including PepsiCo, Dole Food Company and Walt Disney. Also, I have experience in the Consumer Products, E-Commerce, Manufacturing & Distribution (including DSD) and Professional Services industries. I am familiar with various go-to-market sales channels. I have worked for companies with their own manufacturing and warehouse infrastructures along with contract manufacturers and 3PLs. I have worked with various banks and other outside parties as well with the board of directors. I have had finance and accounting responsibilities for North America along with other markets throughout the world.I led groups as few as five and I have built and developed high caliber teams of 50 plus employees. I lead teams by example by rolling up my sleeves along with developing the team through succession planning and individual team member development. I have professionalized accounting and finance organizations by developing and implementing accounting controls, robust financial reporting and analysis. I have worked closely with management teams to improve cost structures, profitability, working capital along with cash flow. I have improved organizational cash management processes along with developing banking relationships. I have led organizational sell processes along with acquisition processes. I have led system integrations and departmental integrations. Outside of work, I have volunteered my time with groups that deliver food to the less fortunate and I have been involved with groups such as American Corporate Partners and The Mission Continues. Professional related activities include being on the steering committee for the local chapter for The CFO Leadership Council and on the local Citizen Oversight Committee for Bond Measure EE.Lastly, I am originally from the mid-west, and I was the first one in my family to go to college and I worked about 25 hours a week while obtaining my under-graduate and graduate degrees. Also, I was able to get a scholarship and fellowship while getting my MBA at Michigan State University.
