Logistics Analyst
CurrentServes as the Logistics Analyst in support of the United States Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC). Plans and executes necessary tasks in preparation for Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) audits; 100% pass rate in Supply Chain Management and Logistics.Supervises a team of five logisticians in all required areas necessary for Contractor Purchasing System Reviews (CPSR); 100% pass rate in Supply Chain Management and Logistics. Accountable for over 15k pieces of Information Technology (IT) equipment with a combined value in excess of over $350M. Executed shipments of 735 pieces of IT equipment with a value in excess of over $100M. Maintains 100% accountability of all assigned classes of supply and government property. Manages five programs covering six test sites. Conducts market surveys in order to provide the buyers with the most cost-effective means of purchase that best meets the requirements of the customer. Works with buyers and program teams to support identifying issues with Purchase Orders and material delays. Coordinates shipment of faulty equipment to the manufacturer/maintenance facility for repair/replacement. Compiles and maintains records of Requisitions, Invoices, Material Inspection and Receiving reports for historical data purposes. Executes shipment of property owned by multiple programs. Examines outgoing and incoming shipments for accuracy to include verifying correct item(s), weight, quantity, and serial number. Conducts periodic inventories of government-furnished material and equipment as directed. Works on reconciling the program database in order to correct errors utilizing historical data. Validates record computations against physical inventory and reconciles errors in computation or count. Investigates audit determinations and identifies discrepancies.
