The work was undertaken in the Manufacturing & Processing Research Group in Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.Thesis title: Fundamental investigations into the micromilling of a biomedical grade polymerWork focused on the development of a framework to quantitatively evaluate machining performance in a polymer micromilling operation. Analysis encompassed the examination of surface finish and geometrical accuracy as well as the scrutiny of cutting forces during machining. Results demonstrated that the framework developed provided an insight into material behaviour and tool condition during micromachining. The methodology developed led to the identification of a stable operational envelope which enabled micromilling to be performed accurately and repeatedly. The project was carried out over the course of four years in conjunction with a multinational industrial partner based in Ireland. Show less

My main responsibilities included: - Preparing 1 hour long classes every week. - Teaching classes of 30 students. - Grading tutorials and lab reports every week.
