Started working at Barrington Automotive / Fisher Auto Parts in 1998. Fisher Auto Parts acquired Barrington Automotive in 2010. During my tenure with this company my job duties started with payroll and administrative paperwork and eventually transformed into managing inventory. The job duties for managing inventory consisted of accuracy of the physical inventory, responsibility of maintaining inventory based on the demand of certain items in the current market which is continually changing, managing returns of defective inventory as well as items that have low demand, sourcing inventory from multiple vendors to efficiently maintain the fewest amount of backorders possible, ensuring orders received accurately match the purchase orders and assist customers with ordering.
