Currently retired after a 30-year career with American Trans Air. Enjoyed many diverse travel locations and experiences across the world. Was employed as a Check Flight Attendant and Recruitment Specialist. I was involved with military flying, rescue and relief work, political flights as well as incentive flights and regularly scheduled service. Interviewing and recruiting perspective employees was also an aspect to my position at ATA that I immensely enjoyed. It was an interesting challenge trying to match a perspective candidate's skills to the needs of our company. Also worked as Flight Attendant for Delta Airlines. Based in Chicago.Have been involved in many mission trips. Some of the destinations are El Salvador where I worked with the First Lady of El Salvador on children's welfare and then helped host a fundraising dinner for her in Indiana. Also traveled to Serbia, where I met and visited with Princess Katherine regarding care for and housing of orphans.Currently a resident of Sanibel Florida where I enjoy the nature and the beauty of this lovely barrier island.Attend the Chapel by the Sea, a lovely seaside non-denominational chapel where everyone is welcome. Services are offered November thru Easter where one can enjoy the beauty and peacefulness either inside the chapel or outside while listening to the sounds of the surf and the osprey as they soar overhead. Currently serve on the Board of Directors.
