Purchasing Agent Ii
CurrentPurchasing/replenishing inventory suppliers to ensure adequate inventory levels and ensure HF is receiving the best value from its vendors/freight providers/customs brokers. Vendor negotiations will be a key component of this role. Experience working with Foreign vendors. Process complete cost distribution to purchase orders, measure cost compliance, propose and take actions to achieve cost reductions from vendors and reduce landed cost. Enforce vendor compliance with pricing policies. Posses a thorough knowledge of the entire purchasing cycle including product development, sourcing, price negotiation, production planning, forecasting, inventory mgt., quality control, product testing and social audit requirements. Build and maintain effective relationships with Sales and Marketing to ensure adequate inventory levels. Analyze plant forecasts and demand and inventory levels to provide on time deliveries while minimizing on hand stocks. Implement procedure and maintain data to reflect proper vendor lead-times, minimum order requirements, re-order points, up-to-date product specs, pack and load information. Compile, evaluate and present reports as needed. Participate in team and department needs, and any other purchasing and/or sourcing duties as assigned by Manager. Able to review and correct BOM and Routing..Experienced planner/ scheduler
