Prior to G2 Weather, Paul was most recently the founding CEO of Meteomatics North America, a global technology leader in weather and climate intelligence and analytics. Prior to joining Meteomatics, Paul held executive leadership roles focusing on weather intelligence at some of the largest corporations in the world including Google, IBM, The Weather Company and Verisk Analytics. The former business and weather expert on The Weather Channel (TWC) television network, Paul is a leading thought leader on the impact of weather and climate on consumers and business. In addition to TWC, his insights have been featured in numerous national media outlets in the US including CNBC, Bloomberg, FOX Business, NBC News, The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, and The New York Times. Before joining the private sector in 1997, Paul served as a meteorologist in the United States Air Force and Army providing weather-based intelligence support to war fighters and mission planners; in that role he participated in direct combat support as the Chief of Weather Operations for the US Army’s elite 101st Airborne Division during the first Gulf War.
