With over 42 years in the entertainment industry, I have cultivated a diverse skill set as a musician, filmmaker, and author.Beginning my career as a member of the 80’s Australian rock band The Cockroaches, I transitioned into a 24-year management role with The Wiggles. More recently, I have leveraged my extensive production expertise to collaborate with notable entities such as Platoon (owned by APPLE Music).Recognised for my contributions to Australian music, I was honoured with the Ted Albert Award at APRA AMCOS. In 202O I was honoured to receive the Order of Australia for significant service to the arts, particularly children's entertainment, and as a supporter of charitable endeavours. I am an active member of both the Australian Directors Guild and Australian Writers Guild. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a deep commitment to the entertainment industry, particularly in television, video, and the music sector. As the lead singer of 1980's Sydney band The Cockroaches, Paul released four albums including a Gold and Platinum selling album, and a further two albums with The Field Brothers. This year has seen Paul enlist dear friends, musicians and songwriters such as Jimmy Barnes, Kasey Chambers and hit songwriter and brother John Field to make his first solo album. Jimmy duets with Paul on a Bob Dylan song while Kasey sings with him on the song Valentines Day, written by Sean Sennett. In 2008, he was elected a member of The International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, judging in the International Emmy Awards and for 16 years the ARIA awards, wrote the documentary "Everybody Clap, Everybody Sing", helped produce "Rewiggled" and The Wiggles Exhibition at Sydney's Powerhouse Museum, which has been seen by over 700,000 people.Following the tragic death of his daughter Bernadette in 1988 from S.I.D.S, he organised the "Cradle Rock" concert and many TVC's for Red Nose, Vinnies, Starlight Foundation, Red Cross, Jesuit Social services, Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation, UNICEF (concert for Timor-Leste).Paul was appointed to the board of Mary Mackillop International for three years. In 2016 he was appointed as an ambassador for Soldier On, who look after the physical and psychological needs of our wounded warriors.He was awarded Gold and Platinum albums as the singer for The Cockroaches and in 2011, released an album "The Field Brothers" and in 2016 the album, "Every Day is Like an Elvis Movie!". Prior to this, Paul studied at the Australian Catholic University and taught high school.Paul worked for 3 years at the Supreme Court of New South Wales for Justice James Wood. Later, he was appointed as the only civilian member of the Investigations team at the Royal Commission Into the N.S.W Police Service.
