Microbrush International develops, produces, and markets innovative disposable applicators designed for the placement of controlled amounts of materials in hard-to-reach areas. Microbrush is a wholly owned subsidiary of Young Innovations, Inc. Young Innovations is a manufacturer and marketer of high quality dental equipment with sales in excess of $100 million.At Microbrush, I spent about 1.5 years as the production planner. I was also involved in new part creation, work instructions creation/editing, and general production support. I was a core team member of a corporate-wide ERP implementation of IFS that was completed successfully and on-time in May of 2014.I currently participate in continuous improvement/lean manufacturing, production planning, supply chain, inventory control and warehousing aspects of the business. I am also involved in new part creation, product costing and analysis. My favorite part of my job is working together with my co-workers to find new solutions for problems and helping to grow the business in all aspects.
