Responsible for leading and delivering IT Operational Services and Digital Development to the NHS and other organisations across the Humber region. Responsibilities include: Service Desk Team, Field Services Team, and Digital, Cloud and Innovation (DCI) Team.

Responsible for delivering all IT operational services to customers across the south Humber area. Also responsible for heading up the Digital Solutions Centre of Excellence across Yorkshire and the Humber.

Responsible for managing the Digital Services Team, who design, develop, manage and support digital solutions/products, including intranets, websites, document management systems, data collection/collation/visualisation/reporting tools, optimising and digitising manual processes, and bespoke development.

Worked as a Product Owner, designing and delivering national data collection and visualisation/reporting solutions.

Following the implementation of the Health and Social Care Act 2012, I coordinated and finalised the legal transfer of assets from a wide range of decommissioned organisations to new receiving organisations, on behalf of the Secretary of State.Due to my IT background, I took a leading role in all IT and data related work.

Working within a small team, I programme managed the Humber area implementation of the Health and Social Care Act 2012. This included the decommissioning of 4 NHS Primary Care Trusts and the transfer of all staff, services, functions, assets, contracts, liabilities and data to over 20 receiving organisations, liaising with the Department of Health, legal teams and a multitude of other national and local organisations.The implementation of the Health and Social Care Act 2012 was the largest ever change programme in the history of the NHS.

Led and managed all IT operational services (Service Desk, Field Support and Infrastructure), delivered to over 3900 clinical and business clients across northern Lincolnshire. Responsibilities included:• Lead Project Manager for operational services• £1m+ annual budget and contract management• Long term strategic planning• Operational performance monitoring and optimisationDelivered a multitude of projects, including the procurement and implementation of agile working technologies enabling staff to work from home or any other remote location. The scope included network upgrades, centralised wireless infrastructure, mobile devices (laptops/slates), smartphones, video/audio conferencing, ‘follow-me’ telephony and centralised printing. This resulted in reducing the HQ estate from 6 sites down to 2, reducing travelling costs by 20% and printing by 60%.

Established a web development team and led all internet, intranet and database development for 3 NHS organisations and over 50 GP practices. Projects included:• Developed one of the first online repeat prescription request systems in the UK• Became the 2nd organisation in the country to produce bar-coded prescriptions• Implemented e-learning, realising substantial savings for the organisation and its 3000+ staff.
