I recently became certified as an authorized national trainer for WMD awareness training, by the DHS Office of Grants and Training (formerly Office of Domestic Preparedness). As such, I am currently in the process of developing a delivery of the subject material for the WMD awareness training to disseminate to our people and contractors. In addition I do, on a regular basis attend training offered by DHS and Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency in topics that are directly applicable to our Officers and contract guard personnel in preventing terrorist attacks and criminal activity. I have been obtaining, on my own, instructor certification in as many areas as I can to achieve the above goal.
