Paul is a Managing Director in Alvarez and Marsal’s Sydney office. He is focused on driving cross border trade routes and also outsourcing. He was previously a partner operating in EY’s Asia Pacific Managed Services Growth Centre based in Sydney. He was EY's London Market Tax Leader and also led the Global Compliance and Reporting London team.He is a Chartered Accountant (ICAS and CIPFA) with 30 years experience. He was previously the head of our tax team in Scotland and lead partner for Government and Public Sector services in Scotland.Paul is a Global Scot actively supporting fast growth businesses and is a graduate of Heriot-Watt University. Paul is also a director of a hospitality company. He has completed the University of Edinburgh Business School Non Executive Director Programme. He was a member of the ICAS tax committee and on the executive committee of CIPFA.He is a member of the tax policy group for the Federation of European Accountants.Paul has served as a Scottish Edge Fund judge, a mentor to small fast growth businesses and a mentor with the 30% Club.
