As a graduate student in physics, I revolutionized the study of material sciences by analyzing massive quantities of data, rather than the small sample sizes that were the standard at the time. By pushing the boundaries of the field, I made a groundbreaking discovery that advanced the field of organic thin films and won my department’s Best Thesis Award. Every step forward in science and technology is based on a foundation of good data management.
