LMAX Exchange Group (LMAX Exchange) is a is a global, diversified financial technology business, which operates multiple institutional FX execution venues. The Group’s portfolio includes LMAX Exchange (FCA regulated MTF), LMAX Global (FCA regulated Broker) and LMAX Digital, GFSC regulated institutional crypto currency exchange.

MTP is part of the LMAX Exchange Group. I was founder and CEO of Mobile Trading Partners (“MTP”), which incorporated to carry the products of SMT Capital (below) forward into the market. This business designed, buildt, delivered and supported Trading platforms and related technology for the Finance industry with a particular focus on FX. Clients included FCA regulated LMAX Limited, a leading FX MTF and the UK’s fastest growing High Technology company, for whom MTP provides their mobile trading platform and all related services. Other clients included brokers in Cyprus, Dubai, Hong Kong, Indonesia and New York. The MTP team also built a fast and reliable Market Data distribution network in the Cloud, together with Charting and Transactional services to support these activities. All leading trade execution systems can be supported using these apps and services.The team’s deep skills and broad experience allowed MTP to deliver beautifully designed high-performance Trading and Informational Mobile Apps and Web Apps on top of this distribution network. MTP also developed a suite of charting and quantitative data analysis tools, together with a range of presentation web widgets that are used internally by clients and distributed to their end-users.

SMT (“Social Mobile Trading”) was the working title of the early-stage startup that went on to incorporate as Mobile Trading Partners. The core product of SMT was a mobile FX trading platform that incorporated significant social elements, including “Me2” the first “follow-me” trading technology for mobile users. The MTP trading platform was derived from that initial product.

As a founder director, helped drive the successful delivery, on time and on budget, of a large-scale online business TV startup funded by the Brunswick Group and Cazenove. The company acted as an “insider” during the preparation and release of listed company financial results and was able to count the majority of its clients as being FTSE100 or FT250 companies, dealing with them at the highest levels. Following a corporate restructuring exercise in early 2009 Cantos merged with Merchant to create a full service digital agency, at which time I left to seek new challenges.
