I write, speak and train marketers and corporate executives to think like publishers. I specialize in social media for B2B companies. I love social media, but I don't think media is an answer to anything. It's about a global game played by more than three million people and enabled by a vibrant online community. I spent 17 years in print publishing before going fully online in 1999. I believe that when anyone in the world can reach anyone else in the world at no cost, then everything changes. We're at the very earliest stages of understanding what that means.I'm passionate about good writing, but I think the bottomless well of the Internet has made it too easy for us to write badly. I offer multi-day workshops and one-on-one coaching to help people write tight, lively copy. I'm at my best when teaching people how to write. I'm at my worst sitting in an "FYI" meeting.
