This study aims to characterize with greater precision the neural changes which occur in the brains of chronic pain patients and how these changes lead to the symptoms displayed in these individuals.Developed a strategic approach to characterize the individual differences in endogenous analgesia with the aim of better understanding how these systems malfunction in chronic pain patients.Responsible for leading the research on spinal cord neuroscience in chronic pain within the Systems Neuroscience and Pain Lab. Manage two research assistants and up to three undergraduate students. -
