During this time I was working with the management team to improve the IT Systems as a wholeThese systems included• CRM improvements through customisations and time saving techniques• Sage accounting software moved to the cloud• New architecture for the main product• Changing the way the IT department worked aswell and recruiting the new IT lead and mentoring them

I worked closely with the IT CTO and the business to ensure the IT department showed value to the business, finding innovative solutions to problems and managing projects closely through to completion.During this role I was the lead for projects within the business to improve value. some of these were• CRM improvements and ongoing support for internal services holding almost 70,000 contacts• Managed the migration of website services to a Data centre,• New telephone system from analogue to digital• Complete rebuild of IT service with Spotlight to ensure a more complete user experience• Reviewing and improving Accounts accessibility• Suggesting new technologies improving the ability for the business to either cut costs of give a better serviceThis job role also included• Weekly business reports• Staff reviews• Project management (Agile or Waterfall)• Budget management• Educating the busines in ITIL processes that can help the company• 2/3rd line support on a number of disciplines including, network, server and SAN• Owner of the service support for Spotlight IT services

I was responsible for the systems for Spotlight including the website, During that time I reviewed the systems and agreed with the business to start an undertaking of upgrading and stabilising the environments.This role included the following:• Solving the problems with the current Microsoft Dynamics configuration and systems• Mapping an improvement structure for all systems within the business• 3rd Party - Support and Hardware contract renewals service reviews and tendering• Staff interviews and reviews• Weekly update meetings with the business management

When first within this newly created role I was tasked with working closely with the development team to ensure quality of service to the customers.Many of the processes that are still in action today included• Agreeing with the business to notify our customers of changes• Assessing and implementing new systems to help the business save time internally• Automating tasks that were mundane and removed errors from those tasks• Improved reporting of specific business inteligence• Review the current bespoke CRM tool and complete improvements with the developers

This role entailed first and second line support for the contracted client base. This involved me sometimes going to the clients workplace and performing tasks such as network configuration, server installation and upgrades and workstation rollouts.This role included some of the following:• All Hardware installs and upgrades for workstation and servers• Networking• Extensive trouble shooting from 1st line to 3rd• Purchasing of all hardware ensuring clients budget and requirements are met

Within this role I was responsible for the office administration and staff members.during my time here I spent a lot of time learning to understand how businesses run and some of the following:• Producing Accounts for Tax and VAT submission• Running Payroll for Clients and Staff• Visiting Clients for taxation interviews• Improving the working processes of the business• Managing an advertising budget• Managing a team of junior accountants
