A switch to consulting gave me a great opportunity to expand my experience and apply my skills across a number of sectors. I am responsible for directing the European Geology Team to achieve set targets. I support clients in making the shift to net-zero. I have also spearhead multiple large-scale projects from inception to successful completion. Furthermore, I provide clients with excellent corporate and project strategy recommendations, including international financial institutions (IFIs) and start-ups.Some of my achievements within this role are:• Established ESG guidelines for a listed natural resources company.• Created environmental and safety inspection guidelines and procedures for Mozambique.• Fostered a culture to create a focused team with a defined energy transition strategy.• Prepared environmental assessment guidelines for the Irish government (DECC).

This was a brief role as an independent consultant while I decided on a longer-term move. In this long-term series of roles, I developed strong leadership and management experience. Here I was responsible for governance, environmental protection, and community engagement while serving as Company Director. I also formulated and executed the annual budget in accordance with KDPs. Supervised and instructed senior staff on various procedures and safe work practices.
