As part of this process MapInfo applications were developed using MapBasic to deliver CAD-like tools to the MapInfo user interface.A spatial adjustment program to automatically re-align cadastral related datasets to a new more accurate cadastral base was also developed in MapBasic and Delphi as part of this project. The CAD-like tools also included an offset capability where the user is able to offset asset features such as water and sewer assets from property boundaries.Customisation of EasiMaps and EasiEnquirer GIS software to link to Singleton Shire Council’s corporate rates and property databases.
