In the 12 months I was at BSC I was responsible for the day to day running of the Ballarat branch. During this time I oversaw an overhaul of the branch's stock profile and also organized the complete remodelling of the showroom area.

I was employed as a sales consultant but was promoted to Branch Manager after 6 months. During this time my responsibilities included sales, management of Statewide Bearings' Victorian Head Office, price management, advertising, managed several reseller accounts and co-managed two key customer contracts.

I was a sales consultant at Hallam Bearings, dealing with customers on a daily basis in person and via phone. I was responsible for procuring equipment and parts for customers.

I was employed at B.J. Bearings for 22 years. I was initially involved in counter and phone sales. After 3 years I was promoted to Branch Manager of their Warragul store (Head Office). In 1993 the company opened a store in Bairnsdale, which I offered to run. I managed this branch for 12 years, during which time expanded the store from myself and one other employee to 8 full time employees. After 12 years I was offered a position back at B.J. Bearings head office to deal with their I.T. requirements. For the next 4 years I was responsible for computer and network upkeep, computer updates, pricing updates, advertising layouts and catalogue production. I expressed a desire to return to a full time sales position, which they declined. As I wished to return to a sales position, dealing with people, I decided to continue my employment elsewhere.

I started employement at this company directly after leaving school. I was responsible for phone and counter sales, industrial gas sales and gas deliveries. R.G. Dent & Sons sold Pumps, Lawnmowers, Chainsaws, Irrigation Supplies, Bearings, Tools and Industrial Supplies.
