Trueform Concrete champions concrete as a functional, sustainable, and aesthetic material of choice for use in commercial and residential applications, including sinks, tables, counter tops, wall panels, and other functional and decorative structures. All of Trueform’s pieces - both custom and off-the-shelf - are handmade in the U.S. Responsibilities include expanding our existing product lines, designing and introducing new product offerings, refining processes, and leading the creation and distribution of all company collateral.

Provide 2D design solutions for various clients, including art direction, new product conceptualization, logo & identity design (branding), packaging graphics, executive presentations, infographics (data visualization) and website mock-ups.

As GSK continues to distinguish itself as a world-class scientific organization that utilizes keen insight to deliver products of value to consumers around the globe, the ability to effectively communicate the benefits of its science is of paramount importance.In this role I explored methods of expressing our Wellness Category’s scientific and technological pursuits in such a way as to make them ever more exciting, relevant, and accessible to our audiences - both internal and external. To meet this challenge I provided drawings, illustrations, early-stage ideation and concept renderings, graphics, infographics, presentations, 3D animations, storyboards, props, and other visualizations that helped shape the narrative around GSK's new products and claims. I worked with individuals & teams within GSK from variety of functional groups and from a number of geographic locations, and collaborated with external individuals and agencies on an as-needed basis.

Piloted an entirely new creative role within Consumer Healthcare R&D, merging experience in the sciences with artistic/visual problem-solving skills. Required collaboration with R&D and Commercial teams across brands/categories, with the goal of identifying and visually articulating novel consumer healthcare products, formats/dosage forms, claims, communications, and expert detailing materials.

Contributed to new product, packaging, and claim launches by designing stability testing programs in order to determine product shelf life and expiration date. Role required ongoing risk-assessment while effectively striking a balance between product quality and speed-to-market. The role also required a significant partnership with Regulatory and Formulation disciplines. I drove continuous improvement by industry benchmarking, modernizing our documentation systems, training employees, and soliciting customer feedback.

Performed a variety of functions: finished-product release testing, anti-microbial evaluation of new products and claims, air quality monitoring, and subsequent microbial identification. Our team also successfully conducted research (and published) to show that PCR (a DNA-based technology) can be utilized to significantly reduce raw material release time from 7 days to 24 hours.
