Responsible for the planning of the network road services for an RDC and local Mail Centres to ensure the most cost effective operation of road services.Plan additional seasonal services when required based on volume forecasts

Responsible for the management of the vehicle telemetry system and supplier management of said system.Manage compliance with the digital tachograph system to ensure drivers hours compliance.Implemented the introduction of longer semi trailers in to the business, including driver training requiremenrts, site and route risk assessments and ongoing monitoring of all LST journey legs, out of service and incident reporting involving these trailers in line with DfT requirementsInvolved in the planning and construction of Driver CPC training courses, ensuring they are fit for purpose and accredited

Responsible for identifying the impacts of new and existing transport legislation on the business and putting in to place any policies required, training required etc. to ensure the business stats legally compliant.Responsible for implementing changes via projects, for example the national introduction of digital tachographs from software systems to driver training.
