I had the responsibility for the management of assigned portfolios of Corporate Trust clients/accounts and serve as the day-to-day contact for the assigned clients/accounts. Accountable for servicing the overall client relationship within the assigned portfolio. Clients are typically launching and maintaining Collateral Loan Obligations (CLO's) and Collateral Debt Obligations (CDO's). Responsibilities include monitoring of contractual obligations for these accounts and administering debt issuance including various complex financing structures and services related to assigned corporate trust products. Also assist with the sales group in retentive marketing efforts for securing additional business opportunities with clients, law firms, investment bankers and other intermediaries and industry professionals. Additionally, managing key relationships of specific assigned products, with the Portfolio Manager, Underwriter, Rating Agency, Accountants, Investors and Insurers and work with their Group Managers to engage and participate in discussions regarding products and services delivered. The role is responsible for addressing client issues proactively, efficiently and to the satisfaction of the client.

The role consisted of liaising with our custody clients post execution to ensure their satisfaction while documenting client feedback and reporting to management. Periodic meetings with long term clients to ensure satisfaction with service and asses if there is scope for potential strategic fits.The position involved creating liquidity within the secondary market by liaising with clients and brokers, agreeing premiums/discounts/brokerage fees for transactions and obtaining Fund Manager approval for transactions while ensuring P/L’s are reported to Management and the regulator. A promotional position which required the solicitation and education of clients as to the benefits of our ETF offering and use of the secondary market, through road shows and presentations. As well as the promotion of our products, the role required the re negotiation of contracts with brokers so to enable the organisation to provide the most competitive product offering to our clients
