    In this role I lead our global Solutions Engineering Team at Nutanix. This R&D function is responsible for developing Nutanix best practices, references architectures, and validated designs for all workloads that run on the Nutanix platform and has 7 distinct areas of expertise: Hybrid Cloud, End User Computing, Databases, Cloud Native, Automation, SAP, and Healthcare Apps. In addition, the team provides architectural patterns for the large-scale computing needs of our biggest enterprise customers. I report to the SVP of Product Management at Nutanix. My team of experts and I are very customer centric and have been driving foundational changes in how Nutanix engages in our most complex deals. We build collateral that accelerates time-to-value and reduces risk for customers, thereby increasing our product adoption and revenue. We are also very focused on listening to the "voice of our customers," and the product management and engineering teams regularly tap into our expertise to improve our portfolio of products.

The program established core infrastructure in 6 data centers and 28 country headquarters to support a global rollout of 76,000 desktops. My program delivered a new Active Directory, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, System Center (SCCM & SCOM), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Forefront Identity Manager (FIM2010), Exchange 2010, Sharepoint 2010, SQL Server 2012, vBlock Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Virtual Server Infrastructure, 3rd Party Remote Access and BYO Device (via Citrix Access Gateways), Global File and Print strategies, Software Packaging and delivery toolsets and processes, and a new operation model that integrates the new technologies into the banks existing operational support teams. The project also delivered new technology and security standards along with automated processes to speed delivery of repeatable standardized infrastructure services, creating a private cloud. This program was the first of 3 pillars contributing to the $450m Ventana initiative to refresh every Windows desktop and server asset in the bank over 5 years, remediating 2500 client applications and 1500 server applications.
