I am an enthusiastic and knowledgeable communications and marketing professional with a passion for sport.I was Communications Officer at Tranmere Rovers, writing all the content for the club's website, filming and editing videos, conducting interviews and press conferences, editing and producing content for the matchday programme, providing matchday coverage via radio commentary, live social media updates and match reports. I was solely responsible for the social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Periscope).I am currently a volunteer media officer at Witton Albion FC, providing content for their social media channels as well as writing for the club website and reporting on matches.I have been the website editor for Vauxhall Motors Football Club, keeping the site up-to-date, conducting interviews with the players and staff and reporting on matches. I also produced video content for the club's YouTube channel and have appeared on BBC Radio Five Live's Non League Show.I have completed a number of journalism courses including 'Introduction to Sports Journalism' at Sportsbeat and 'Freelance Journalism' at the University of Manchester.I have been writing for various websites since 2000, and have had work published by Sky Sports, the Professional Footballers' Association, Evening Standard and The Guardian.Football is my first love, but I enjoy a wide range of sports and have reported on cycling, tennis and squash. I use my blog to write about a number of different sports such as athletics, cycling and hockey.I have great work experience within customer services and IT, as well as communications, sales and marketing, and I am capable of adapting to different work places and learning new skills.I've helped organise a number of charity events and ran marathons for charitable causes. This is a passion of mine and we've staged a number of very successful events which have raised a lot of money for a number of different charities.
