Paul H. Carleton is Managing Partner of Carleton McKenna & Co., LLC, which was founded in 2001 to provide strategic and financial consulting services to corporations with a focus on healthcare, technology, and consumer products. From 1978 to 1988, Paul held various titles at McDonald & Company and achieved the position of Managing Director in charge of the Investment Banking Group of the firm. In 1988 he formed the Carleton Group which in 1993 was transitioned to Carleton, McCreary, Holmes & Co. He held the position of Senior Managing Director at CMH, a position he maintained through the firms acquisition by KeyCorp in 1996. Paul currently serves as a trustee of the Playhouse Square Foundation; Baldwin-Wallace University Board of Trustees (formerly Chair of the Board). He formerly served on the boards of University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center (Vice Chair), University Hospitals Medical Group, the Center for Health Affairs, Bluecoats, Inc. and the FBI Citizens' Academy. He also served on the Finance and Audit Committee of Shaker Heights City School District. He has served on the boards of numerous public and private corporations. He currently serves on the boards of E & H Family Group (23 ACE Hardware Stores) and Spot and Tango, a human grade pet food company.Paul earned his Bachelor's Degree from Baldwin Wallace College in 1970 and his Masters in Business Administration from Northwestern University in 1972. In 2010, Paul received an honorary doctorate degree from Baldwin-Wallace College. Paul resides in Shaker Heights, Ohio, with his wife, Sherry, and has four children.
