Paul was responsible for co-ordinating Nokia’s patent opposition activities, leading strategic patent oppositions, and advising and training attorneys. He also joined the Patent Assertion Team, where he was responsible for the evaluation of third party and Nokia’s own patents against products and telecommunication standards and providing analysis, opinion and advice on potential infringement and licensing opportunities. He has effectively presented his analysis in many licensing and litigation settlement negotiations in which he also generally supported the business negotiations.
