He also represents clients in related commercial litigation, often defending financial, development, or construction claims. A partner on Robinson Gray’s Commercial Team and Business Litigation Team, his transactional and litigation experience offers a valuable perspective to clients seeking efficient resolutions. Paul has regularly represented creditors in debt recovery matters, including workouts, foreclosure, bankruptcy, tax sales, asset research and recovery, and judgment collection. He has extensive experience advising clients on commercial loan accounts and pursuing enforcement of promissory notes, guarantees, and security agreements, including recovery through successor liability and fraudulent transfer claims. In recent years, he has managed and advised a large financial client on a significant portfolio of problem commercial loans and judgments. He has also litigated and defended commercial and consumer claims made against financial institutions and mortgage servicers.He also regularly defends insured lenders and property owners in complex title insurance claims, including easement and boundary issues, subrogation litigation, lien priority disputes, and other title curative measures. Paul has been named a “Super Lawyer” Rising Star for Creditor-Debtor Rights every year since 2018 and named to “Best Lawyers in America” for 2021-2022 for his practice in Commercial Litigation, Litigation – Real Estate, and Real Estate Law.
