Hyperbaric Medicine Foundation a 501(c)(3) nonprofit concluded a re-brand from National Hyperbaric Association in 2018 that now closely defines its name with its philanthropic mission.

Positioned the non-profit operation to achieve development initiatives by directing a team of clinicians, research scientists, PhD’s, and physicians to form a think-tank of innovation for new medical modalities and treatments. Scoped strategies to stretch resources, tailored marketing, and managed recruitment, on boarding, and donor retention. Achieved results by negotiating costs and executing business plans with complete financial P&L responsibility over operations, business units, projects, brands, and market presence.• Formed a target campaign ensuring long-term viability by offering alternative medical treatments for veterans and first responders suffering TBI and PTSD, thus avoiding a lifetime of pharmaceutical dependence. • Improved operations by developing tracking tools, evaluating data, timelines, strategic goals, objectives, and research for future FDA approvals for TBI and PTSD. • Promoted the medical benefits of hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatment for veterans dealing with wounds of war, and new applications for civilian diseases already in research within the US and with global partners.

Navigated the national complexities of attracting and retaining donors for the start-up non-profit organization providing disabled-adapted home remodeling and repair services to US Veterans suffering from service-related injuries. Led virtual workforce teams as the administrator and project manager on all home remodel approvals after awarding contracts to local tradesmen, architects, and engineers. Developed a veteran applicant vetting process for those most in need. Nationally executed a veteran call to action awareness campaign, and managed a yearly $1M budget. • Strengthened financial results by raising over $2M in public and private donations, securing corporate donors and submitting and gaining grants from the USO, the Home Depot Foundation, and private philanthropic donors. • Improved the asset loan to value on 317 rehabbed or remodeled homes, adding $3.5M in real estate value and increased the credit score for veteran homeowners so they could borrow and obtain loans. • Captured donor interest by designing and executing interesting fundraising events, implementing public awareness programs, and secured local involvement, including press and government representatives. • Reduced costs by establishing and vetting a national database of volunteers, corporations, and general contractors that provided volunteer or discounted labor and supplies. • Maximized resources through collaborations with the Veterans Health Administration, the United States military command, and other military service organizations, to locate and approve veterans in need. • Developed a national campaign (Flag Campaign) to recognize the sacrifices of United States veterans, with the awarding of US Flags on 20-foot flagpoles that were proudly displayed at their homes.

Established a tax-exempt private foundation to provide home remodeling services to US Veterans.
